With too much time on my hands (Is it just me?)

Is it just me?

Or does the whole contacting someone through the ask box feel so awkward, one-sided, and creeperish on the part of the asker because you don’t know how else to contact them?? Your conversation is broadcasted (even more than facebook) AND there’s no button to continue the conversation except to ask another question or to hope that they ask you one. Ugh…
